About Me
When I'm not writing code, I'm probably elbow-deep in a home project, burning something on the stove, or convincing my dog that I'm the one in charge.
Home Improvement
I've ripped out more drywall than I'd like to admit. YouTube tutorials have saved me thousands in contractor fees.
Homebrewing
Making beer and wine at home. Some batches turn out great. Others... well, I've learned a lot from the bad ones.
Cooking
I cook most nights. Nothing fancy, but I've got a few dishes I'm proud of.
Brewery Hopping
Wherever I travel, I find the local breweries. It's like a scavenger hunt, but the prize is beer.
Dog Dad
My dog is smarter than me. Training him has been humbling. He's definitely winning.
Piano
Played clarinet and sax for years, but piano is kicking my ass. Turns out using both hands at once is hard.
// How I Think About Things
Most of what I do outside of work involves making stuff and then fixing it when it breaks. Brew a beer, tweak the recipe next time. Build a shelf, realize it's crooked, build a better one. Write some code, watch it fail in production, learn something new. It's all the same loop. I'm not chasing perfection—I just like getting a little better each time.
// Say Hi
Got a brewery recommendation? Want to argue about TypeScript? Just want to chat? I'm around.
