About Me
Outside of work it's mostly the two dogs, board games and breweries with my fiancée, and a piano I'm slowly getting less bad at.
Dogs
Leo is a seven-year-old German Shepherd who treats every waking minute as playtime. Timber is a one-year-old hound mix we adopted on a whim at a brewery, which tells you most of what you need to know about us. He mainly cuddles.
Board Games
My fiancée and I play a lot, depending on the mood. Right now it's Star Realms, with regular detours into Wingspan, Spots, Skip-Bo, and whatever else is within reach.
Brewery Hopping
Local spots when we're home, and the first thing we look up when we travel. A trip can be planned around it, and usually is.
Cooking
Mostly meat: steak, and a lot of smoked pork, chicken, and salmon. The rest is me working through NYT Cooking and seeing what sticks.
Piano
Music runs in the family and I studied woodwinds in college, so I assumed piano would come easily. It hasn't. I'm teaching myself anyway.
Homebrewing
I like beer enough to make it myself, which has lately turned into hard cider and kombucha too. Results vary.
